01. What products and services does Davagenie offer?

Davagenie is an online pharmacy & healthcare company that delivers the widest range of medicines at your doorstep through website and through app. We also offer online doctor consultation and sell (OTC) wellness products including herbal products. You can also get lab diagnostic blood tests done by booking for a free home collection.

02. Do I need a valid prescription to buy medicine?

Yes. You will have to upload a valid prescription to buy medicines via the Davagenie. In case you want to buy wellness products such as hair care products, skin creams, diabetic footwear and so forth, a prescription is not required. Medicines requiring prescription have a small Rx mark against them. In case you have misplaced your prescription, our doctors help you with diagnosis & prescription over a call.

03. What are the acceptable payment modes?

You can buy medicines on Davagenie via cash on delivery, card payments (Debit/Credit), and other payment wallets such as GPay, Paytm, Freecharge, PhonePe and PayPal. In some geographies, we also offer card machines on delivery

04. Why is my uploaded prescription rejected?

Your prescription could be rejected due to the following reasons.

  1. Values pertaining to dosage not matching with what you have ordered
  2. Prescriptions that have already been stamped for no further usage
  3. If the prescription is more than a year old.
  4. If it contains certain Schedule H drugs that we do not dispense, example sleeping pills.
05. Can I buy medicines with a foreign prescription?

Yes but, Davagenie delivers medicines only in India.

06. Will Davagenie deliver medicine 24*7?

Davagenie delivers medicines on all 7 days of the week. Generally, medicines ordered via the Davagenie app will be delivered within 24- 48 hours in metro & Tier 1 towns & they take 5 days for smaller towns. All our deliveries happen between 7 am to 10 pm.

07. How do I know medicine delivered is genuine or authentic?

We have a traditional practice of buying medicines only from authentic sources and have zero levels of tolerance towards substandard quality. Davagenie only procures medicines directly from pharmaceutical companies or the company appointed distributors. Our team of medical experts monitor announcements pertaining to banned medicines and thus we do not sell such products. You can be absolutely assured that at Davagenie we only sell medicines from authentic sources & we check for expiry before dispensing.

08. Is it good to buy another medicine listed as a substitute?

It is common practice to substitute a brand for another brand of the same medical salt while dispensing only as long as the composition & strength of the salts are an exact match. Substitutions are helpful when a brand you are searching for is out of stock or when the same composition is selling for a lower price by another brand.

09. How do I change my address with Davagenie?

You can change your address by just editing it while check out. You need to do this before your medicine is dispatched.

11. Can I save multiple addresses in my account?

Yes.

12. How do I reset my password on Davagenie App?

It’s simple. Go to the and logout. Now re-login but click forgot password. Enter your registered mobile number and you will receive a one-time-password (OTP). Enter OTP and add your new password.

13. If I have received an expired medicine, how do I return it?

Normally Davagenie is very strict in dispensing medicines that are at least 3 months away from expiry. But in the unlikely event of a customer receiving an expired product, you can opt for return by calling 7303-345-345 and our delivery personnel will come to your door step to collect it. Your package will be verified against the batch number of the medicine we originally sent & if all matching, we will refund the amount.

14. Do you sell refrigerated products?

Yes, we sell refrigerated products and medicines. These are available in limited pincodes of cities we service directly.

01. Is this app free?

Yes, Davagenie app is available for free on Play Store and App Store.

02. Do I have to sign up to use this app?

Yes, you will have to create a Davagenie account in order to use this app. It's easy, user-friendly, free and takes a few minutes.

03. Will I get notifications regarding doctor consultation, medicine purchase etc here?

Yes, you will get notified instantly in case you book for an online doctor consultation, medicine purchase and so forth.

04. Is the Mobile App secure?

Davagenie app is 100% safe and secure to use. Any payment done via the app will be encrypted and kept safe. We take the responsibility in ensuring that your payment details are kept safe and stored via our intelligence team who work constantly in keeping your personal information confidential.

05. How do I get the mobile app for my phone?

You can download the Davagenie app via the Play Store or IOS App Store.

Order Cancellation, Return & Refund

01. How do I cancel my Davagenie order?

It's simple. Call 7303-345-345 for cancelling your medicine order placed at Davagenie or on our Website and Mobile App.

02. Can I return my order?

You can return your order within 30 days from the time you received your order. However, this may be subjective to certain terms and conditions. Refrigerated products need to be returned within 24 hours and stored at the right temperature in customer homes.

03. How do I place a return request?

Call us on 7303-345-345 (Mention order number, sales invoice number name, and reason for return), on our website www.davagenie.com or Mobile App.
Note: You need to raise a return request within 30 days of product delivery or 24 hours if you wish to return a refrigerated product. Only full strips & unopened bottles will be accepted

04. How is refund of my order done?
  • Raise return request.
  • Delivery personnel will collect the package from your doorstep.
  • Your order will be reviewed based on your reason for return.
  • After approval, we will initiate refund/replacement back to the same payment source if you had paid online or to your Davagenie wallet if you had paid by cash.

Note: If you want the return to be credited to your bank account, please call the customer service team to get the same done.

05. If my order was cancelled, can I reorder it?

Yes. You can reorder your medicine in case you have cancelled it. We have made reordering very easy through our app. Select the order which has the medicines you want & there will be an option to reorder the medicines of that order. You can also modify the quantities while reordering.

Doctor Consultation

01. How can I contact doctor online?
  • Download the Davagenie App and click ‘Consult a Doctor’ on the menu bar.
  • Choose to speak to the right specialist from our panel of doctors.
  • You can choose between voice call and video call or simply chat with our experts.
02. How much time will I get to speak with a doctor?

Every patient’ case being different, there is no fixed time.

03. How do I pay for the consultation?

You can pay for online doctor consultation using card payment (Credit/Debit), Wallet.

04. Do I get a receipt for the payment?

Yes. You will receive a payment receipt on you Davagenie account once your E-consultation is completed.

05. Do I get a refund in case of cancellation?

Yes. Your amount will be refunded if your E-consultation is cancelled.

06. What if my call gets disconnected during consultation?

If such a thing happens, normally, the doctor will immediately try to re-establish the connection. If that does not happen, then call 7303-345-345 or email us at care@davagenie.com and we will get it sorted.

07. Are E-prescriptions valid to buy medicine online or offline?

E-prescriptions are valid to buy medicines online as well as offline. In order to buy medicines from an offline pharmacy, you can take a printout and buy medicines from your local pharmacy with it.

Medicine Order, Delivery & Payment

01. How do I order from Davagenie?

Davagenie has made ordering medicines fast and all you need to do is to simply follow these three simple steps:

  1. Upload a valid prescription
  2. Search and add medicines OR get a pharmacist to call you back
  3. Confirm order

Don't have prescription? Don’t worry, all you need to do is to get a consultation from a Davagenie doctor. We also take orders over the phone. Call us on 7303-345-345 and our pharmacist will guide you through your order.

02.How is my order processed?

Once you have placed an order, you will receive a confirmation call or SMS from our customer service. Your medicines will be delivered at your doorstep on the delivery time mentioned in your confirmation SMS. We deliver in 24-48 hours in the metros & large towns. 03. Can I order the same medicine for two different people?

Yes. You can order the same medicine for two different people provided you give valid prescriptions for both.

04. Can I add more addresses for two different orders for different locations?

Yes, you can add more addresses for different orders at different locations provided it is within the boundaries of India. Your app can store multiple addresses.

05. Do I have to register on Davagenie to order medicine?

Yes. You will have to sign up or register with Davagenie in order to buy medicines.

06. How do I to track the order?

Once you have placed your order you will receive SMS updates on your registered mobile number. In order to know the status of your order call 7303-345-345.

07.Can I order medicines without a prescription?

Yes, in case you have misplaced your prescription, our doctors help you with diagnosis & prescription over a call. OTC products such as wellness products, herbal products, diabetic footwear, copper bottles, thermometers, oximeters, weight check devices, etc.., do not require a prescription and can be ordered without prescription.

08. Can I order medicines from overseas on Davagenie?

Yes, you can order your medicine from anywhere in the world but we only deliver in India.

10. How will the delivery happen?

We have our own delivery personnel who will deliver your order to your doorstep in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai. If your order has to be delivered outside these cities, then we have tie- ups with third-party delivery organisations - E-comm express, Delhivery, Blue Dart others. We also make sure that cold storage drugs are packed in chilled boxes and transported keeping up with safety regulations.

11. How are the medicines packaged?

Pharmacists at Davagenie package our products in sealed boxes and bags, where clearly you can see if the box has been opened or not. Refrigerated items are packed between ice gel packs to maintain the medicine temperatures in transit. Our packaging methods are in accordance with government norms.

12. If there is a delay in delivery, will someone inform me?

Yes, we will keep you informed by call or SMS in case there is a delay in processing your order.

13. Do you do same day delivery?

Yes. In cities where we operate our warehouses, for orders received in the morning, we are able to deliver by evening.

14. Is there a delivery charge on the medicine you purchase?

We charge you a nominal fee of Rs. 25 for orders that are below Rs. 500 in total value. We offer free delivery on medicine orders above Rs. 500.

15. What are the acceptable payment modes?

You can buy medicines on Davagenie via cash on delivery, card payments (Debit/Credit), and other payment wallets such as MobiKwik, Paytm, Freecharge, PhonePe and PayPal.

16. Are there charges/taxes in addition to the prices shown?

Prices shown are inclusive of taxes. The only additional charge you have to pay is when your order value is below Rs. 500 - tax charge applied is Rs. 25.

Davagenie Lab Tests

01. Can I book my tests online?

Yes. You can book lab tests online by selecting the tests or package that you want & checking out. We have enabled selection of the home sample collection time as well as prepayment through online methods on our app & website.

02. How to book lab test on Davagenie website?

It's simple. Here is how you do it:

  • Go to davagenie.com
  • Select your test and enter your details. (If you are new to the website, then you need to register with us).
  • Enter appointment details such as date & time, sample pick up and click “Confirm”.
  • Enter payment details and your order is placed.
03. Will the samples be collected from home?

Yes. Our expert will come home and collect your sample and take it back for testing and report generation.

04. How much time do I have to wait to book my tests?

If you have chosen a slot while booking on the app, your wait time is according to your booking. If you have requested a callback, you will receive a call shortly after you have filled the enquiry form for a lab test and the team will assist you in making a booking at a time slot of your choice & convenience.

05. Is a doctor’s prescription needed to avail the testing service ?

No.You don’t need a doctor’s prescription for booking a lab test at Davagenie.

06. How soon will I get reports?

You will receive your reports within 24 hours by email.You can also choose to get the reports couriered for a nominal charge of Rs. 50 and that may take up to 2 days.

07. I did not receive a soft copy of my lab report. How do I get it ?

We usually send patient reports as soon as it has been verified.However, if you have not received your report, kindly call 7303-345-345 or email us on care@davagenie.com.

08. What if any of my tests are cancelled?

If your test has been cancelled, call us on 7303-345-345and our health experts will guide you through the process.We usually do not cancel lab tests unless there is a particular test that is not available.

09. How will I get a receipt for the payment made?

We will send a soft copy of your lab test result via email along with your acknowledgement.

10. How do I download my lab test report?

Here is how you do it:

  • Firstly, login to your email that is registered with Davagenie.
  • Click on the email received by Davagenie.
  • Click on the download button on the lab test report. (You can also print it for future use).
11. What is the procedure to reschedule or cancel my sample collection?

If you want to reschedule / cancel your order, you will have to call 7303-345-345 Between 10 am till 10 pm and our customer care personnel will help you with the same.You can write to us at care@davagenie.com

12. What if I am at work. Do you collect samples even at my workplace?

Our Lab Partners trained phlebotomists can collect samples even from your workplace as we understand that urgent needs can come in at any time. Davagenie aims at empowering the patients for timely and accurate diagnosis for themselves. Moreover, this primarily depends on the type of lab test you have opted for.

13. Is there any charge for sample collection?

No.We do not charge you for sample collection. It is inclusive in the package you have chosen.

14. How do I know that tests from Davagenie labs are accurate?

Our Partner labs are enrolled in External and Internal Quality Assurance schemes as per ISO: 15189 guidelines, which help us in benchmarking our samples with peer group and providing precise reports.We emphasise on quality of reporting in the highest regard by getting all your samples reviewed by experienced Pathologists and Biochemists.

15. Are your test samples collected by a Phlebotomist?

Yes. Your test samples will be collected by our team of expert phlebotomists who have been given medical level training on how to use universally recommended safe ways of collecting lab samples for testing purposes.

16. How can I be sure about the standardized equipment used in tests?

Our Lab Partners uses fully automated instruments with the latest technologies which are USFDA / CE approved. All instruments are validated as per ISO: 15189 guidelines. We also make sure that your test sample is verified and the results generated are accurate and authentic.
